North Carolina man wanted in Speedway triple shooting nabbed after 22-mile stolen car chase, deputies say

HENDERSON, N.C. (WNCN) — A Henderson man who was wanted in a wild October triple shooting in Raleigh was nabbed by a K-9 team Thursday after a 22-mile chase in a stolen Raleigh luxury car in Vance and Warren counties, police and deputies said.

The suspect was already out of jail on a $20,000 bond for June 2025 stolen-gun and stolen-car possession charges in Vance County, court records indicate.

The arrest this week stems from a chase that began around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Henderson on Chestnut Street, when officers spotted an Infiniti Q50 displaying a North Carolina temporary tag, according to a Henderson Police Department news release.

Officers tried to pull over the driver, but he sped off “rapidly and refused to stop” in the car that was reported stolen from Raleigh, police said.
