Gunfire erupted Saturday on the 200 block of East Davie Street in downtown Raleigh, leaving a man seriously injured, according to police. Officers arriving at the scene found the wounded man, who was taken to a nearby medical facility with serious injuries. Police closed part of the block while investigators worked the scene.
According to CBS17, Raleigh police said officers were called to the 200 block of East Davie Street and discovered the injured man there. The department did not immediately report any arrests.
