Shooting at Durham gas station on South Alston Avenue leaves juvenile dead: Police

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A juvenile is dead following a shooting at a gas station in Durham early Monday afternoon, police said.

According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded around 12:13 p.m. to a report of gunfire in the 600 block of South Alston Avenue and located a crime scene at a gas station in the area.

After arriving, according to Durham police, the officers were told a juvenile male was taken to the hospital in connection with the incident. At the hospital, the juvenile was pronounced dead.

The incident remains under investigation. No further information is available as of Monday afternoon…
