Unlicensed Raleigh dental provider faces charges after ABC11 Troubleshooter investigation

There are new details in a Troubleshooter investigation that left patients with braces on their teeth but no dental care after the provider closed up shop: That provider, Ebony Nicohole McBean, is now facing criminal charges.

McBean, of Garner, faces three felony counts of obtaining property under a false pretense and one misdemeanor count of practicing medicine without a license.

Bobby White, the Executive Director of the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, said, “We want the public to be protected from folks that violate the trust of the dental person.”…
