North Carolina teens accused of killing boy in gas station shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Durham earlier this week that took the life of a juvenile, police said Thursday.

According to the Durham Police Department, a male juvenile was shot on Monday just before noon at a gas station in the 600 block of South Alston Avenue. He was taken to a hospital before officers arrived, where he was pronounced dead.

One of the suspects in the shooting was identified as 18-year-old Donnell Antonio Stanford of Raleigh, who was taken into custody on Thursday. He is charged with murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, according to a warrant filed by Durham police…
