Toddler, 5 adults hurt in crash on North Carolina highway

ZEBULON, N.C. (WNCN) — Six people, including an unrestrained toddler, were taken to nearby hospitals after a two-car collision in Wake County north of Zebulon Sunday night, North Carolina troopers said.

The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. along NC 96 about four miles north of Zebulon, in the Hopkins area, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

NC 96 was closed until about 8:45 p.m., the North Carolina Department of Transportation said.
