Second shooting less than two miles away
The East Pilot Street violence unfolded not far from another Sunday shooting less than two miles away on South Alston Avenue. WRAL reported that officers at that scene marked multiple shell casings and said the victim there was also hospitalized, with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
