2 arrested in connection with deadly 2016 Fairmont cold case

FAIRMONT, NC (WMBF) – A cold case in a town in Robeson County has new developments.

Fairmont Police Chief Jon Edwards said two people are in custody in connection with the April 2016 killing of 16-year-old Shemond Green.

U.S. Marshals Carolina’s Regional Fugitive Task Force took Keon Anthony, 33, into custody in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Tuesday, and Marcus Leonard, 33, turned himself in on Wednesday.
