Gunfire Slams GoRaleigh Bus On Garner Road, Riders Rattled But Safe

A routine Tuesday night ride on Garner Road turned tense when gunfire hit a GoRaleigh bus, leaving three passengers shaken but unhurt, according to Garner police.

Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. after reports of shots fired and discovered the bus had been struck. A 911 call about the incident came in at about the same time, and police told WRAL that no injuries were reported.

Detectives canvassed the area Tuesday night, speaking with witnesses as the investigation got under way.
