Gas Station Terror On Capital Boulevard Leaves Raleigh Driver Hospitalized

A routine fuel stop on Capital Boulevard turned violent Saturday when an armed carjacker confronted a driver at a Raleigh gas station and left him injured, according to police.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the station and found a man suffering injuries serious enough to require hospital treatment. Investigators said the suspect took the victim’s vehicle and fled, triggering a search of the surrounding area as officers combed through surveillance footage.

According to CBS17, Raleigh police said they are still looking for the person believed to be responsible and urged anyone who might have seen something to speak up. The station reported that the confrontation unfolded at a gas station along the busy corridor, but authorities have not publicly identified a suspect or discussed a possible motive.
