19-year-old arrested after alleged break-ins at UNCW residence hall

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A 19-year-old is in custody after allegedly breaking into two apartments in a residence hall at the University of North Carolina Wilmington early Saturday morning.

Nicholas Morganeli, of Raleigh, is charged with two felony counts of first-degree burglary, one count of sexual battery, and one count of consuming beer or wine while underage following the alleged break-ins at Seahawk Village.

According to court records, one of the girls in those apartments woke up to Morganeli touching her while laying next to her in her bed…
