Late-Night GoRaleigh Bus Brawl Ends in Stabbing Near Five Points

A late-night ride on a GoRaleigh bus near the Five Points neighborhood turned violent Monday, leaving one person with minor stab wounds and another under arrest.

City officials said the incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Whitaker Mill Road and Sunrise Avenue. Officers met the bus there, removed the people involved and arrested one person at the scene. The injured rider was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

According to WRAL, Raleigh police told the station the stabbing happened on the bus itself. Investigators were working to determine what sparked the argument that led to the attack. The department has not released the suspect’s name or any information about possible charges.
