Raleigh’s burger and fried chicken scene is about to get a little louder. Nash & Smashed, a fast-casual chain that pairs smash burgers with Nashville-style fried chicken, is opening its first North Carolina location in northeast Raleigh. The restaurant is taking over the former Fat Tuesday space at Poyner Village near Triangle Town Center, with construction on the storefront already underway. Early peeks at the menu show budget-friendly pricing, with a classic burger around $7 and chicken sandwiches starting near $8.
