GRAHAM, N.C. (WGHP) — Investigators say a man facing second-degree murder charges was intoxicated behind the wheel, leading to a crash that killed a young woman.
According to the Graham Police Department, TaiSean Malachi Jones, 24, of Raleigh, was charged with second-degree murder on Saturday after Imani Janel Vaughan, 29, of Graham, died when the Jeep allegedly driven by Jones crashed. Jones was also seriously injured and hospitalized in the crash.
Investigators say that Jones was “impaired by alcohol and drugs” when he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of S. Main Street and Moore Street, hitting a Ford Mustang, causing the Jeep he was driving to overturn…
