The person living there managed to escape the blaze and was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. Fire crews arriving on scene pulled the family dog from the burning home and gave it oxygen outside. The fire broke out at about 9:00 a.m., and firefighters found intense flames when they arrived, according to CBS17.
