Argument ends in shooting in a Raleigh grocery store parking lot, one person injured: Police

The Raleigh Police Department is conducting an investigation after a person went to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

According to police, the shooting happened in the parking lot of the Food Lion on Creedmoor Road. Raleigh police chief Rico Boyce said the shooting may have stemmed from an argument. Boyce said witnesses told officers they saw two people in two different vehicles arguing before shots were fired.

After the shooting one person ran away on foot and another person drove away in a truck and later crashed at the intersection of Millbrook Road and Winthrop Road. The driver then jumped out and ran, police say…
