A decades-old shop in Durham is closing soon, and two other stores in Raleigh and Cary shut their doors abruptly.
Shoppers still have time to make a final trip to the locally owned Ninth Street store, but there was no advance warning for customers who might have wanted to visit the Raleigh and Cary businesses.
