RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is in police custody after they said 2 pedestrians were injured in a crash involving him driving while impaired on Fayetteville Street and East Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded to a crash around midnight Sunday to the downtown intersection, where they found two pedestrians injured.

Officers told CBS 17 that a man driving a red car crashed and debris struck the two people, sending them both to the hospital with what was believed to be minor injuries.
Duane Andrew Doster was charged in this crash, according to police. Court records showed he was charged with driving while impaired, felony hit and run resulting in injuries, driving while license revoked, failure to yield to pedestrians, and failure to reduce speed.
Doster remains in Wake County custody under a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled for court on May 15…
