After 16 years, an Italian restaurant has closed in Cary, ending a decades-long run for a local hospitality group.
Ealier this month, Bocci Trattoria & Pizzeria closed its last remaining Triangle location, shutting down the restaurant at 2425 Kildaire Rd. in Cary.
Owned by Bob and Nancy Jewett, Bocci first opened in Durham in 2004 and expanded to Cary, then most recently Raleigh. The Raleigh location was short-lived, opening in 2017 and closing in 2019; the space is now Kabab & Curry. The South Durham Bocci closed in 2024 after 20 years in business and has since been replaced by Cucciolo Famiglia.
