Akron man sentenced for robbing postal carrier at gunpoint

CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old Akron man was sentenced to at least eight years in prison for his connection to the robbery of a mail carrier in May of 2025. Aaryn Rodgers pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and receiving stolen property on January 27. He was sentenced on March 20 in Summit County Common Pleas Court.
