Police Investigating Fatal Shooting on Minnesota Avenue in Southeast DC
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a homicide in Southeast Washington, DC. On November 4, 2025, officers responded to a shooting in the 3500 block of Minnesota Avenue. They found 40-year-old Lowell Trueheart of Southeast DC with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by DC Fire and EMS.
