Man hit while crossing Ann Arbor road on scooter

ANN ARBOR, MI — A 52-year-old man was injured after he was hit by a car while crossing the street on a scooter. The Ann Arbor man was crossing Ann Arbor-Saline Road near Fieldcrest Drive around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south, said Chris Page, spokesperson for the Ann Arbor police.
