LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been killed after being hit by two vehicles on U.S. Highway 280 in Lee County. Alabama State Troopers say 86-year-old Cleavon Barton of Atlanta, Georgia, was walking in the road when he was hit by a tractor-trailer truck and then a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
