Speeding driver crosses median, causes head-on crash on Peach Orchard Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A multi-vehicle crash on Peach Orchard Road sent two people to the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded around 2 p.m. to the 3400 block of Peach Orchard Road for a reported traffic accident. Investigators say a speeding vehicle traveling northbound struck the rear of another vehicle in the same lane.
