COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A long-time anchor and local icon has died at 71 after battling health issues. Charles Mashburn, known as Chuck Leonard to the community, was born on September 1, 1954. He is a Birmingham, Alabama native, and this is where he began his broadcasting career in 1974.
