MERIDIAN, Idaho — A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night on Fairview Avenue in Meridian, police said. A Meridian Police Department spokesperson told KTVB that dispatch received a report around 7:30 p.m. that a pedestrian was hit by a car near the intersection of Fairview Avenue and 5th Street.
