Officers were called to the scene at about 7:25 a.m., after receiving a report of an unresponsive man on the walkway near Edgewater Commons Mall, Chief Donald Martin said. The investigation revealed no indications of foul play or criminality, and the death was determined to be an apparent suicide, Martin said.
