A Georgia man was sentenced to serve 34 months in prison for his role in a multistate check fraud scheme that targeted financial institutions across Western New York, U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced. Lorenzo Jones, 38, of Atlanta, was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft.
