A Florida man allegedly shot and killed his father because he “had been on his case” about getting a job and paying his own rent, according to deputies. Investigators say 25-year-old Melquan Stewart has been charged with murder following the Monday incident in Port Charlotte, about 95 miles south of Tampa.

The Cape Coral Police Department says there have been two cases of arson during the last two days, and they're actively looking to speak with two people about these events.
