Cape Coral Police Target Distracted Driving: Over 100 Citations Issued in Citywide Operation
On December 1, 2025, the Cape Coral Police Department held a citywide operation focused on distracted driving. In six hours, officers made 102 traffic stops and issued 108 citations. Of these, 24 were for distracted driving and 66 were for speeding. Other violations were also cited.
