City of Chandler strengthens protections against food and drink spiking

Dozens arrested in Phoenix during Operation Desert Guardian crackdown
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Dozens of people were arrested Thursday night during a criminal task force operation in central Phoenix. State Troopers arrested 35 people for outstanding warrants, DUIs, drugs and weapons offenses in the Valley as a part of Operation Desert Guardian, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Officials did not say how many arrests fell into each category.
Valley drivers face weekend of detours as major road closures hit freeways
PHOENIX — Arizona transportation officials are warning drivers to plan ahead for another weekend of freeway restrictions in central, north and southeast parts of the Valley. Closures on State Route 51, Loop 101 and Loop 202 headline the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory for April 24-27.
