The Chandler City Council recently approved new rules that make it a class 1 misdemeanor for anyone who secretly tries to or intentionally puts any drug or toxic substance into someone else’s food or beverages.

PHOENIX — A man was arrested after he allegedly groped and threatened to kidnap a teenage fast-food worker in Phoenix, according to court documents. PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Dozens of people were arrested Thursday night during a criminal task force operation in central Phoenix. State Troopers arrested 35 people for outstanding warrants, DUIs, drugs and weapons offenses in the Valley as a part of Operation Desert Guardian, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Officials did not say how many arrests fell into each category.

PHOENIX — Arizona transportation officials are warning drivers to plan ahead for another weekend of freeway restrictions in central, north and southeast parts of the Valley.
