Camp North End adds curfew for minors amid safety concerns
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new curfew is now in place at Camp North End as leaders respond to a string of disruptive incidents involving large groups of teens. Management says “unauthorized teen takeovers” in recent weeks led to growing safety concerns, especially on busy weekends. Under the new policy, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 6 p.m.

Wastewater spill reaches Sugar Creek in west Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A wastewater spill in west Charlotte has reached Sugar Creek, according to Charlotte Water officials. Crews who responded to the spill Friday estimated the amount at roughly 4,200 gallons. They were called to the 3300 block of Scott Futrell Drive and determined the source to be from a pipe failure in that area. No further information was released.
