A woman is wanted and a man was arrested for their alleged roles in dropping a package of cocaine and suboxone to a group of inmates behind a dumpster at the Norfolk City Jail.

Two people have life-threatening injuries after being shot on West Ocean View Avenue near Ocean View Beach Park Tuesday night, and a preliminary investigation has connected that shooting to a nearby scene in the 1800 block of East Ocean View Avenue, Norfolk Police said.
