CHICAGO - A 25-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting Tuesday morning in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood. The man was standing near the sidewalk around 6:41 a.m. when an unknown vehicle pulled up and someone inside started shooting in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue, according to police.

On April 14, 2025, the Will County Fugitive Warrants Unit arrested Mark A. Bell, 29, of Chicago on charges related to the May 16, 2024 shooting death of Terrell Johnson. Bell was taken into custody in Chicago on a Will County Arrest Warrant and transported to the Bolingbrook Police Department for processing.
