NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco has announced he is resigning to pursue a seat in the Florida Senate. Nocco released a statement on social media saying he is stepping down in November to run for Florida State Senate District 21’s seat, which includes parts of Pasco and Pinellas counties.
