COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man has been sentenced to nearly 90 years in prison after raping an elderly woman in east Columbus last year. According to court documents, a Franklin County jury found Miguel Rodriguez Rolon guilty on four felony charges, including the rape of an 87-year-old woman in January of 2025.

Eighteen-year-old Christopher Cooper-Patton was shot Tuesday in the 1600 block of Elaine Road, on the city's east side. He was rushed to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition. Officers were called to Holburn Avenue in Southwest Columbus on March 4 for a report of a sick person.
