A woman was detained after reportedly beating a dog with a bat in Dallas, according to police. Officers responded to an animal cruelty call in the 13300 block of Cloverbrook Lane in southeast Dallas shortly before noon on October 12, and discovered a suspect striking a dog with a bat, according to Dallas police.
