Quaint little Roses Fine Food restaurant at 10551 E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit has been named the Detroit Free Press Restaurant of the Year for 2026. After nine years, the restaurant closed in 2023. It was known for sandwiches, brunch and house-made breads, desserts and custom cakes. It made a comeback in 2025.
