Pitt County high school senior earns full-ride scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill
PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Pitt County high school senior has earned one of the nation’s most prestigious undergraduate scholarships. Maya Swaggerty, a senior at Junius H. Rose High School, was named a Morehead-Cain Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a full-ride scholarship.
