Abnormally dry conditions remain in parts of region
Last week the National Weather Service reported that drought conditions had have officially ended statewide after 324 consecutive days. The agency says recent rainfall over the past month has led to significant improvement. However, some areas in far southwest and north-central Indiana remain abnormally dry due to longer-term rainfall deficits.
