FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man drowned off Fort Lauderdale Beach Saturday morning, police said. According to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, officers were called to the 200 block of South Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard just before 7 a.m. after receiving a call from a man who said he lost his friend in the water.
