New Haven produce farm continues tradition of donating pie pumpkins to local food banks
NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WPTA) - A local produce farm is using part of its yield to give back. This weekend, Kurtz Produce held a Volunteer Gleaning Day. Volunteers came together on the New Haven property to pick pie pumpkins for its fields, collecting them to be donated to Community Harvest Food Bank and other local pantries.
