GRAPEVINE, Texas — A group of five people stole vehicles worth $1.6 million in a theft ring that spanned the entire Metroplex, Grapevine police said. Grapevine police officers conducted their investigation over the course of five months, connecting five individuals to the theft ring and recovering large sums of cash and stolen firearms, according to a press release from the Grapevine Police Department.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A construction worker was rescued from a crane Wednesday evening after suffering a medical emergency in Fort Worth, officials say. The man was said to be operating a crane over the John Peter Smith Hospital parking garage, which is currently under construction, when he suffered a medical emergency, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Fire Department.
