California High-Speed Rail Authority Completes Underpass Project
FRESNO, Calif. - The California High-Speed Rail Authority completed the Cesar Chavez Boulevard underpass grade separation project located close to the future Fresno Station. According to the Authority, the underpass is designed for two-lane traffic and connects Chinatown and southwest Fresno to downtown while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It reroutes traffic below the Union Pacific line and future high-speed rail tracks.
