Southern Dallas church catches fire Thursday, officials say
DALLAS — A Lutheran church in southern Dallas is recovering after a fire swept through it on Thursday afternoon, its pastor said. In a statement on the Facebook page of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pastor B.R. Williams said the fire claimed the pulpit and the pews, as well as the sound system and musical instruments.
