GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A man serving life in prison without parole for a killing he committed as a 16-year-old was resentenced to 40 to 60 years in prison. Paul Carter, 46, a juvenile lifer, was resentenced Tuesday, Dec. 30, by Kent County Circuit Judge Christina Mims on multiple charges including felony murder.
