Michigan Man, 43, Arrested After Allegedly Stealing an Ambulance in Wisconsin
A Barry County man was arrested Sunday in Wisconsin after allegedly stealing an ambulance and leading police on a car chase, officials said. The Green County, Wisc., Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that it arrested Shannon Szukala, 43, of Middleville, and is seeking charges of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
28th Street back open in both directions at Division Avenue after flooding
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Eastbound and westbound 28th Street were closed at Division Avenue for over an hour, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced Tuesday night. MDOT said the road was closed at about 11:25 p.m. due to flooding. A little over an hour later at 12:40 a.m., the roadway reopened.
