Man learns sentence in shooting that left 18-year-old dead
OTTAWA COUNTY, Michigan — A man who pleaded guilty to shooting and killing an acquaintance in Ottawa County learned his sentence. Alan Lopez, who was 18 at the time of the shooting, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and felony firearms in December. A judge sentenced him to 5 to 15 years in prison.
