A victim was hospitalized after being shot in the face in the Upstate over the weekend. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Mobile Drive in Spartanburg, around 10PM Saturday.

After a dental comparison, the coroner identified the victim as Wilbur Haile Hayes IV, of Anderson. The manner of death has been ruled accidental.
