HOUSTON — An investigation is underway after a man in his 50s was found dead lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head in southwest Houston, police say. The Houston Police Department said the man was found near the intersection of Dairy Ashford and Brookglade around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities are still looking for clues into the deadly hit-and-run crash that took the life of a Fort Bend County deputy last month.
